High-Performance Integrated Building Design services including energy modeling utilizing PowerDOE software were provided for this new 37,100 SF municipal building, which accommodates the Township’s administrative offices, police department, a Senior Center, a public meeting room, a gymnasium and a social Hall.
This project was initiated by 7group partner Marcus Sheffer with assistance from the York County Community Foundation and was designed as the first “green” municipal building in Pennsylvania. Lower Windsor Township officials hope that this building will serve as an example of sustainable architecture and design for the community and surrounding region.
